Misery Index - Heirs to Thievery (2010)
Heirs To Thievery is the pinnacle of Misery Index's career. Most metal heads stay away from Misery Index because lyrics are heavily set around politics but I think they got past that bullshit reason, they would recognize the greatness of Misery Index has to offer. Their last few albums I've been really impressed with, and this album meets and raises the bar. This album is the total package. Appearing throughout the album you have Mark Klöppel, Jason Netherton, Mough Alvarado, John Gallagher, Rich Johnson, Vince Matthews and Erik Rutan on lead and/or backup vocals. Those are some of the biggest names in metal all on one record. I'm alittle disappointed that my boy Kevin Talley is not rockin the drums for Misery Index anymore, but Adam Jarvis is no fucking slouch and he proves that on this album. Great candidate for top albums of 2010!
