Darkness Reborn Setlist (2010)

Just saw the setlist for Dimmu Borgir's upcoming tour, Darkness Reborn, featuring Enslaved.

I am crushed...I knew there would be ALOT of new material on each bands side, but jesus christ almost half of Dimmu's set is from their newest abomination Abrahadabra...Ugh, I hate it when bands do this...There is not one song from either of their best albums For All Tid or Stormblast. I should have came to terms with this when I bought these tickets taking into consideration the slope this band has been sliding on for almost a decade...

But I still had hope...Thats where Enslaved comes in...Their newest album Axioma Ethica Odini is pretty fucking good. Such a vast improvement from where they were heading...They give me hope that even when a band starts going downhill, they still have the potential in them to create a masterpiece.

Brutal Truth @ The Blvd

On January 20th, 2011 one of my favorite Grindcore acts, Brutal Truth, will be at The Blvd. in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles for a night of extreme music. Last time I saw Brutal Truth was when they came to the Knitting Factory back in 2007 with Pig Destroyer and Anal Cunt and they did not disappoint in the least! Cant wait for this show!

Maryland Deathfest IX

Tickets are already on sale for The 2011 Maryland Deathfest taking place May 27th to 29th in Baltimore Maryland.

Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour - 2010

Grindcore legends Napalm Death will be destroying Europe with their Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour. Special guests include Immolation, Macabre, and Waking The Cadaver. I am especially stoked to see Macabre on this tour because they have to be one of the best live acts around today in my opinion. This is a pretty sweet tour, too bad they are not bringing this to North America!

California Blood Tour - 2010

Cattle Decapitation will be taking Devourment, Knights of the Abyss, Burning The Masses, Son of Aurelius, Slaughterbox and Condemned with them on their California Blood Tour.

I guess Devourment feel I am not worthy to see them live...I just drove a few days ago to see them at a Death Fest in Las Vegas, but they did not show up to play...There were rumors of them touring with Cattle Decapitation soon, so my hopes got alittle brighter. But they were smashed when I saw for this tour, they will be playing at every other show EXCEPT for the show in Hollywood. 

Is this some sort of conspiracy?...
