Enslaved - Axioma Ethica Odini (2010)
Wow, I was totally caught off guard with how good this release is. In Axioma Ethica Odini, Enslaved have incorporated more progressive elements into their style and it is paying off, big time.
Axioma Ethica Odini is a heavier progression from their previous and more mellow release, Vertabrae. Ive enjoyed almost everything Enslaved has released to date, old or new, but this album brings forth something very unique and I dig it. If you favored their earlier Viking Metal days like Frost and Eld to their newer progression you will most likely not enjoy this, but listen to the link below and find out for yourself atleast...
Now I have some new material to look forward to hear when I see them with Dimmu Borgir in November. Stoked.
Great candidate for best albums of 2010!
